The first project, located at Nakhatrana in Kutch, Gujarat, has a capacity of 6.3 MW. This is part of a larger 1050 MW wind component under the 500 MW REMCL RTC Project of NTPC Renewable Energy Limited. It was declared operational effective 00:00 hrs on September 22, 2026.
The second project, situated at Jamjodhpur in Jamnagar, Gujarat, has a capacity of 50.4 MW. This also forms part of the 1050 MW wind component under the 500 MW REMCL RTC Project of NTPC Renewable Energy Limited. This project commenced commercial operations effective 00:00 Hrs on September 22, 2026.
Impact on Total Capacity
With these new additions, the current commercial capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited group has risen to 10,920.53 MW. Consequently, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited group has increased to 10,977.23 MW, further strengthening its position in the renewable energy sector.
