L&T Finance: Raises ₹650 Crore via Debenture Placement

L&T Finance Limited has successfully completed the allotment of 65,000 senior, secured, rated, listed, redeemable, non-convertible debentures on a private placement basis. These debentures, each with a face value of ₹1,00,000, aggregate to a nominal value of ₹650,00,00,000 (₹650 Crores). The allotment took place on September 18, 2026, to identified investors for cash.

L&T Finance Completes Private Placement of NCDs

L&T Finance Limited announced the completion of a significant private placement of its non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on September 18, 2026. The company has allotted 65,000 senior, secured, rated, listed, redeemable, non-convertible debentures. Each debenture carries a face value of ₹1,00,000 (Indian Rupees One Lakh only).

Aggregate Value and Terms

The total nominal value of the allotted debentures amounts to ₹650,00,00,000 (Indian Rupees Six Hundred Fifty Crores Only). These instruments were issued on a private placement basis in dematerialised form for cash. The debentures are set to mature on September 28, 2029, with a coupon rate of 7.8384% per annum. The first coupon payment is scheduled for September 28, 2027, followed by annual payments thereafter.

Security and Redemption

The debentures are secured by an exclusive and first-ranking charge by way of hypothecation over identified fixed deposits and standard receivables of the Issuer, ensuring the principal amount and coupon are covered. The NCDs will be redeemed at their face value of ₹1,00,000 per NCD on the maturity date.
