ACME Solar Holdings Limited has successfully commissioned Phase-II of its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) component on September 17, 2026. This milestone involves an installed capacity of 52.32 MW with a storage capacity of 209.28 MWh. This phase is part of a larger 300 MW / 1200 MWh (Discharge Capacity) FDRE Project situated in Village: Kelan, Tehsil: Chhatargarh, District: Bikaner, Rajasthan.
Increased Operational Capacity
The commissioning of this phase by ACME Greentech Seventh Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary, brings its total commissioned BESS capacity to 105.95 MW / 423.80 MWh. The Commercial Operation Date (COD) for this newly commissioned capacity is scheduled for September 19, 2026. The project has a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with SJVN Limited and is supported by long-term project financing from REC.
Future Commissioning Outlook
ACME Solar anticipates commissioning the entire BESS capacity for this significant project by the third quarter of the current fiscal year, further bolstering its renewable energy infrastructure and storage solutions.
