Valplast Technologies: Board Approves Expanded Business Objects

Valplast Technologies Limited has announced the approval of an alteration to its Memorandum of Association (MoA). This strategic move, approved by the members at the 13th Annual General Meeting, involves inserting a new sub-clause to the company’s Main Objects. The expansion significantly broadens Valplast’s business activities, encompassing a wide array of infrastructure, industrial, energy, and environmental sector services.

Expanded Business Scope Approved

Valplast Technologies Limited has officially received member approval to amend its Memorandum of Association (MoA). This significant decision, passed as a Special Resolution at the company’s 13th Annual General Meeting held on 15th September 2026, marks a strategic expansion of Valplast’s core business objectives. The alteration primarily involves the insertion of a new sub-clause (9) under Clause III A (Main Objects) of the MoA.

Details of the New Business Objects

The newly added sub-clause broadens the company’s operational scope to include a comprehensive range of services across various key sectors. These include, but are not limited to, concept development, survey, design, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, supply, construction, erection, installation, integration, testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of a wide array of infrastructure projects. Specifically, the updated MoA covers the business of motorways, streets, roads, vehicular and pedestrian ways, highways, bridges, tunnels, and subways. Additionally, it encompasses construction and maintenance of power, telecommunication, and transmission lines, as well as Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing (MEP) services. The scope extends to high, medium, and low voltage systems, instrumentation, distributed control systems, safety systems, and a variety of management and O&M services. This expansion also includes various contracting models such as turnkey, item-rate, design-build, Public-Private Partnership (PPP), Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT), and Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) projects. The company can now engage in these activities within the infrastructure, industrial, power, environmental, water, wastewater, oil & gas, mining, energy, and building sectors.

Regulatory Compliance and Next Steps

This intimation is made pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. A copy of the amended Memorandum of Association will be submitted to the Registrar of Companies in due course.
