Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Shipbuilding & Heavy Industries Park Maharashtra Limited (NSHIPML). This agreement positions MDL as the Anchor Shipyard for a proposed Greenfield Shipbuilding Industrial Cluster at Dighi, Maharashtra. The project aims for an annual shipbuilding capacity of 1.2 million Gross Tonnage, focusing on commercial vessels and fostering a competitive maritime ecosystem.
