Embassy Origins Project Launch

Embassy Developments Limited (EDL) has officially announced the launch of its new residential project, Embassy Origins, situated in North Bengaluru. Spanning an expansive 85 acres, the development is built around a ‘Natural Intelligence’ design philosophy. This approach prioritizes the integration of the site’s natural ecology, water systems, and contours, alongside mature tree cover, to shape the masterplan.

Project Phases and GDV

The inaugural phase of Embassy Origins comprises two RERA-approved residential projects: Embassy Riverine and Embassy South Reserve. Embassy Riverine will offer 217 villas across approximately 1.1 million sq. ft. of saleable area, while Embassy South Reserve will feature 855 apartments (Studio to 3.5 BHK) spread over 1.5 million sq. ft. The combined Gross Development Value (GDV) for these initial phases is estimated at approximately ₹4,500 crore, representing a significant revenue potential for the company.

‘Natural Intelligence’ Design Philosophy

The development’s design and landscaping were handled by Bengaluru-based Bhumiputra Architecture. It incorporates around 4,000 trees from 100-120 species, utilizing the existing landscape to form a continuous green spine. A central riparian corridor follows natural water systems and contours, fostering biodiversity and contributing to a cooler microclimate. This is intended to create a strong connection between the homes and the surrounding environment.

Strategic Location and Amenities

Located north of Yelahanka, Embassy Origins offers a total of over 2.6 million sq. ft. of saleable residential space. The development is strategically positioned to provide convenient access to the city’s business, commercial, and lifestyle destinations. Kempegowda International Airport is approximately 20 minutes away by car. The project also introduces one of India’s first residential experience centers designed for immersion, aiming to provide prospective buyers with a futuristic glimpse of the living environment.

Company Vision

Aditya Virwani, Managing Director of Embassy Developments Ltd., stated that Embassy Origins represents a focus on ‘natural kind’ development, contrasting with the trend towards artificial intelligence. He highlighted the project’s aim to create a community with a cooler microclimate and a sense of openness. The company has a strategic focus on Bengaluru, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, and the National Capital Region, with presences in Chennai and Indore as well. Embassy Developments Limited is listed on both the BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited.
