Supreme Court Concludes Litigation
Raghuvansh Agrofarms Limited has received a significant update regarding its ongoing legal proceedings. The company, along with its Promoter/Promoter Group, had filed Civil Appeal Nos. 7422-7423 of 2022 before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. These appeals were filed against an order dated 03rd September, 2020, which was later amended by a corrigendum dated 07th September, 2020, passed by the Whole Time Member of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (“SEBI”). The Hon’ble Securities Appellate Tribunal, Mumbai (“SAT”) had previously passed an order on 29th April, 2022, which was then challenged in the Supreme Court.
Court’s Decision
In its order dated 18th August, 2026, the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, after hearing the counsel for the parties, observed that it found no sufficient grounds to interfere with the impugned orders passed by the Securities Appellate Tribunal, Mumbai. Consequently, the Supreme Court has dismissed the appeals filed by Raghuvansh Agrofarms Limited. Additionally, any pending applications related to these appeals have also been disposed of, marking a conclusive end to this particular litigation.
