Max Healthcare Institute Limited announced today, September 7, 2026, that it has successfully increased its shareholding in its subsidiary, Kalinga Hospital Ltd. (KHL). This significant development follows the company’s earlier intimation on September 3, 2026, regarding the infusion of approximately ₹87.87 Crore into KHL.

Rights Issue and Shareholding Update

The infusion was executed through a rights issue, wherein Max Healthcare subscribed to new equity shares of KHL. On September 7, 2026, at 5.13 pm IST, the company received official confirmation from KHL regarding the allotment of 50,21,212 equity shares to Max Healthcare. This allotment has resulted in an increase in Max Healthcare’s shareholding in KHL from approximately 58.28% to 66.15%.

Subsidiary Status Maintained

Following this increased stake, Kalinga Hospital Ltd. continues to remain a subsidiary of Max Healthcare Institute Limited. The company has also stated that this disclosure will be hosted on its official website, www.maxhealthcare.in.
