Thomas Cook (India) Limited has announced that its Mauritius-based subsidiary, Travel Circle International (Mauritius) Ltd (TCIM), has increased its investment in PT Asian Trails Indonesia. The investment, amounting to Indonesian Rupiah 712,800,000, was made through a rights issue. Following this, TCIM’s subsidiary, Asian Trails Holding Ltd., continues to hold a 66% stake in PT Asian Trails Indonesia, reinforcing its control over the Indonesian operations.

Strategic Investment in Indonesian Subsidiary

Thomas Cook (India) Limited has disclosed a significant strategic investment made by its subsidiary, Travel Circle International (Mauritius) Ltd (TCIM). TCIM’s Mauritius-based entity, Asian Trails Holding Ltd., has subscribed to 990 ordinary shares in PT Asian Trails Indonesia, a step-down subsidiary. This capital infusion of Indonesian Rupiah 712,800,000 was made on August 3, 2026, through a rights issue.

Strengthened Stake and Continued Control

Following this recent investment and allotment of shares, Asian Trails Holding Ltd. maintains its substantial ownership, continuing to hold 66% of the total shareholding in PT Asian Trails Indonesia. This move underscores the company’s commitment to its Indonesian joint venture, which operates in the travel-related services sector.

Details of the Transaction

PT Asian Trails Indonesia, the target entity, has an authorized share capital of Indonesian Rupiah 2,520,000,000, divided into 3,500 ordinary shares. For the fiscal year 2025, its turnover was reported at Indonesian Rupiah 297,937,695,491. The transaction was conducted at an arm’s length, with the company’s interest limited to its shareholding.
