RHI Magnesita India: FY25-26 Revenue Up 9% to ₹4,020 Cr; Hits Robotic Caster Milestone

The company also achieved a significant milestone by commissioning India’s first robotic caster system for steel operations at JSW Vijayanagar Metallics Limited, a subsidiary of JSW Steel, marking a major advancement in automation within the Indian steel industry. Adjusted EBITDA stood at ₹477 crore with a margin of 12%, showcasing effective cost management.

Financial Highlights for FY 2025-26

RHI Magnesita India announced its financial results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026, showcasing resilient performance amidst a challenging market. Revenue from operations grew by 9% year-on-year to ₹4,020 crore. This growth was driven by improved business volumes and operational performance, despite softer realisations and demand variability.

Despite pricing pressure and input cost inflation, the company reported an adjusted EBITDA of ₹477 crore, maintaining a margin of 12%. This performance underscores the effectiveness of the company’s cost management initiatives and operational discipline. Profitability remained stable with an adjusted profit after tax of ₹180 crore, while maintaining a strong balance sheet with a net debt-to-EBITDA ratio of -0.1x.

Operational Milestones

A significant operational achievement during the year was the commissioning of India’s first robotic caster system for steel operations at JSW Vijayanagar Metallics Limited (JVML), a subsidiary of JSW Steel. This marks a significant advancement in automation within the Indian steel industry and reinforces RHI Magnesita’s position as a technology-led solutions provider in the refractory industry.

The company also highlighted its strategic collaborations, including a partnership with Tata Steel to drive operational excellence and long-term value creation through its 4PRO framework. Furthermore, RHI Magnesita strengthened its steel flow control offering through the acquisition of Ashwath Technologies in India, expanding its capabilities and market presence.
