Max Healthcare: Inaugurates 400-Bed Tower at Saket Facility

This expansion increases the hospital’s total bed capacity to approximately 1,200 beds, making it the largest private hospital in Delhi by bed capacity. Max Healthcare Expands Saket Hospital with New 400-Bed Tower

Max Healthcare Institute Limited announced the inauguration of a significant new 400-bed tower at its Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital in Saket, New Delhi. The ceremony, held on September 3, 2026, was attended by prominent dignitaries, including the Hon’ble Union Home Minister and Cooperation Minister, Shri Amit Shah, who inaugurated the facility.

Enhanced Capacity and Specialization

This expansion marks a major milestone for Max Healthcare, increasing the total bed capacity of the Saket facility to approximately 1,200 beds. This makes it the largest private hospital in Delhi in terms of bed capacity. The new state-of-the-art tower is designed to deliver advanced, technology-enabled tertiary and quaternary healthcare services across more than 22 specialties, catering to the growing demand for specialized medical care in the National Capital Region and beyond.

Advanced Medical Infrastructure

The new facility is equipped with cutting-edge medical technologies, including the Da Vinci Xi Surgical Robot and the Mako Total Knee Replacement Robot, enabling precision-driven, minimally invasive procedures. This investment underscores Max Healthcare’s commitment to providing high-quality patient care with world-class infrastructure and exceptional clinical talent.

Commitment to Accessible Healthcare

Max Healthcare reiterated its dedication to accessible healthcare, highlighting its efforts in providing free treatment worth ₹244 crore to 3.60 lakh patients in the past year. The organization has also supported over 1.62 lakh students through its educational programs. In the previous financial year, Max Healthcare treated over 40 lakh patients from more than 800 cities and 180 countries.
