Dr. Yallapragada is a seasoned leader in the healthcare IT sector, possessing over 23 years of experience. His professional background includes a unique combination of clinical practice and technology strategy. He holds an MSc from City University London and completed an Executive Management Program from IIM Calcutta, providing him with a robust blend of clinical credibility, technological acumen, and business insight.
Proven Track Record in Digital Transformation
Prior to this appointment, Dr. Yallapragada served in Group CIO/CTO roles at prominent Indian hospital groups, including KIMS Hospitals, Rainbow Children’s Medicare, and Maxivision Eye Hospitals. At Maxivision Eye Hospitals, he spearheaded digital transformation initiatives across more than 70 ophthalmology centres. His experience encompasses a wide range of IT implementations, such as HIS/EMR, SAP ERP, AI-driven CRM systems, cybersecurity infrastructure, patient-facing mobile applications, and enterprise analytics platforms.

Beyond his operational roles, Dr. Naresh is recognized as a thought leader in the industry. He is a published author, a Past Chair of HL7 India, and a Past President of the Indian Association for Medical Informatics.
