Transrail Lighting Reports Record Revenue and Profit Growth in FY 2025-26

Transrail Lighting Limited has declared its financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, marking a period of substantial growth and record-breaking performance. The company reported its highest-ever revenue of ₹6,880 crore, a significant 30% increase compared to the previous year and exceeding its own guidance of 25% growth. This robust top-line performance was complemented by strong profitability, with EBITDA growing by 21% and Profit After Tax (PAT) increasing by 28%.

Key Financial Highlights

The company attributes its exceptional performance to several key factors, including strengthened manufacturing capabilities, expanded global footprint, and disciplined operational execution. The revenue growth of 71% in the domestic transmission business, reaching ₹2,653 crore from ₹1,550 crore, was a notable contributor. Internationally, the Power Transmission & Distribution business also demonstrated strong growth, with revenue increasing to ₹3,394 crore from ₹3,016 crore.

Strengthened Order Book and Strategic Expansion

Transrail Lighting Limited secured new orders worth ₹8,520 crore during the year, boosting its total unexecuted order book to a strong ₹16,361 crore (including L1). The company emphasized its strategic expansion into new geographies and its focus on strengthening its manufacturing base. These efforts position the company favorably for future growth opportunities in the global infrastructure sector.

Manufacturing Capacity Enhancement

A key milestone achieved during the year was the doubling of the company’s tower manufacturing capacity to 172,400 MTPA, with the commissioning of a new factory at Butibori, Nagpur. The conductor plant brownfield expansion is also progressing on schedule, reinforcing the company’s backward integration strategy.
