KFintech Unveils ‘ARYA’ AI Platform

KFin Technologies Limited (KFintech) today announced enhanced details for its innovative Conversational Intelligence & Investor Servicing Platform, ARYA. This new platform is designed to revolutionize the way investors interact with mutual fund services, offering an end-to-end transactional capability through natural language conversations. ARYA is set to integrate seamlessly with KFintech’s Registrar and Transfer Agent (RTA) infrastructure.

End-to-End Transaction Capabilities

ARYA simplifies the investor journey by unifying scheme discovery, portfolio analysis, and direct transaction execution into a single conversational flow: Ask → Understand → Analyse → Act. The platform incorporates strict deterministic compliance controls to ensure all transactions are processed accurately and securely. Current live testing includes additional lump-sum purchases and SIP registration. Future roadmap items include redemption, fund switching, Systematic Transfer Plans (STP), and Systematic Withdrawal Plans (SWP).

Transactions within ARYA are executed natively on KFintech-serviced AMCs, ensuring real-time auditability and data integrity by sitting directly on the underlying system of record.

Addressing Industry Challenges

The platform is engineered to tackle key industry friction points, such as high-volume servicing loads by relieving call centres and branches from repetitive inquiries. It aims to reduce data and journey fragmentation by offering a unified conversational layer. ARYA also mitigates calculation and hallucination risks by performing calculations programmatically, not relying on LLMs for generating numbers. Furthermore, it is designed for DPDP compliance and data residency, processing all investor data within India.

Architectural Differentiators

ARYA’s architecture features a distinct approach where ‘Models Advise, Software Decides’. Natural language models handle conversations, while unit-tested software code manages intent routing, compliance gating, and transaction execution. The platform utilizes self-hosted SLMs (Small Language Models) and corpus data, running exclusively within KFintech-controlled infrastructure. This ensures enhanced security and control over investor data.

Proof-of-concept testing, completed in July 2026, demonstrated industry-leading performance benchmarks, including ~90% fact accuracy and sub-second retrieval latency (p95 ≈ 0.7s).

Deployment and Roadmap

ARYA is scheduled for a staged rollout, with an invite-only launch at the Global Fintech Fest on 10th September 2026. Subsequent rollouts to distributors via KFintech’s IRIS portal and to investors through the KFin Investor Portal are planned for October 2026. The roadmap includes further enhancements such as WhatsApp integration, voice interaction, multilingual support, and adapters for NPS and wealth servicing.
