The collaboration focuses on modernizing systems, optimizing business processes, and advancing engineering through AI agents, targeting key sectors like financial services and manufacturing.

Mphasis Forges Strategic Alliance in Japan

Mphasis, a global Al-led, platform-driven technology solutions provider, announced on September 02, 2026, that it has entered into a strategic agreement with TechnoPro Holdings, Japan’s largest technology-focused engineering staffing and IT solutions provider. This partnership is set to introduce Mphasis’ Al-powered enterprise offerings to the significant Japanese market.

Expanding AI and Enterprise Transformation

The collaboration aims to combine TechnoPro Holdings’ extensive engineering ecosystem with Mphasis’ expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI), enterprise modernization, and digital transformation. Through this alliance, TechnoPro Holdings will introduce Mphasis’ Modernize™ and Optimize™ product lines, built on Mphasis’ proprietary Tria™ platform, to clients across Japan. This initiative is designed to enable organizations to leverage AI for modernizing legacy environments, optimizing business operations, and improving decision-making, thereby enhancing solution delivery speed and scale.

The partnership will also extend Mphasis’ cybersecurity, compliance, and security solutions to TechnoPro Holdings’ clients. Both companies plan to pursue opportunities across strategic industry verticals, with an initial focus on the financial services and manufacturing sectors.

Key Areas of Collaboration

The joint efforts will focus on several key areas:

  • System Modernization: Utilizing Mphasis Modernize™ to support legacy system renewal and streamline software development.
  • Business Process and Decision-Making Advancement: Employing Mphasis Optimize™ to drive Al-based operational efficiency and decision support.
  • Engineering Advancement Using AI Agents: Leveraging Mphasis NeoIP™ and Mphasis Tria™ to build development and operating environments where engineers collaborate with AI agents.

These solutions are underpinned by Mphasis’ proprietary knowledge platform, Mphasis Ontosphere™, an evolving knowledge base integrating business intelligence and AI-assisted implementation. Mphasis NeoIP™ is designed as an integrated platform spine combining Ontosphere-powered knowledge graphs and multi-agent orchestration.

TechnoPro Holdings’ Role and Capabilities

TechnoPro Holdings will deploy Mphasis Tria™ to create Al-powered software development environments for its workforce. This will enable autonomous code generation and testing, embedding AI into core business functions like talent allocation, recruitment, and corporate planning. TechnoPro Holdings will also utilize its own operations as a large-scale AI deployment environment, packaging proven workflows into industry-specific Al solutions for sectors such as automotive and manufacturing.

Market Opportunity in Japan

Nitin Rakesh, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Mphasis, highlighted Japan as a significant growth opportunity, stating, “Japan represents a significant growth opportunity as enterprises accelerate digital transformation and Al adoption. By combining our enterprise Al capabilities including Mphasis NeoIP suite and Mphasis Tria Agency platform with TechnoPro Holdings’ deep relationships across Japan’s automotive, manufacturing and technology sectors, as well as targeting the Financial Services sector. This partnership enables us to bring our enterprise offerings to one of the world’s most important industrial markets.”

Gaku Shimaoka, President, Representative Director, and CEO of TechnoPro Holdings, commented, “Our group has set the evolution into ‘Japan’s largest Al-implementation company’ as a key theme of our mid-term management plan. TechnoPro’s greatest strength is that approximately 30,000 engineers and researchers work directly on-site with a wide range of clients… Through this partnership with Mphasis, we will combine this on-site and domain knowledge with world-class Al, automation, and Al-agent technologies, building a framework in which every individual engineer can use Al to implement transformation for our clients.”
