Real Touch Finance Limited’s Board of Directors has approved significant leadership changes. Mr. Angalappan Anandakumar has been appointed as the new Managing Director, subject to shareholder approval, and also as an Additional Director. He will also transition from Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Gopal Sridharan has resigned as Whole-time Director. The Board also recommended the reappointment of Mrs. Padmini Ceruseri Srikanth and Mr. Somnath Sarkar.
Board Sanctions Key Leadership Appointments
Real Touch Finance Limited has announced a series of pivotal leadership changes following its Board of Directors’ meeting held on August 31, 2026. The board has approved the appointment of Mr. Angalappan Anandakumar as the new Managing Director, a move that is contingent upon the subsequent approval of the company’s shareholders at the upcoming 41st Annual General Meeting. Concurrently, Mr. Anandakumar will also serve as an Additional Director, effective September 1, 2026, holding office until the AGM. He will be resigning from his role as Chief Financial Officer, effective August 31, 2026, to take on these new responsibilities.
Director Resignation and Reappointments
In addition to these appointments, the Board took note of the resignation of Mr. Gopal Sridharan from the position of Whole-time Director, effective September 30, 2026. The company will pursue other professional interests and commitments. On the reappointment front, the Board has recommended the re-appointment of Mrs. Padmini Ceruseri Srikanth as a Non-executive Non-independent Director, who is liable to retire by rotation at the 41st AGM. Furthermore, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the Board has approved the re-appointment of Mr. Somnath Sarkar as a Non-executive Independent Director for a second term of 5 years, subject to shareholder approval at the 41st AGM.
Committee Reconstitution and AGM Preparations
The Board also approved the appointment of M/s. BP & Associates as the Scrutinizer for the 41st Annual General Meeting. Furthermore, the Audit Committee and the Stakeholder Relationship Committee of the Company have been reconstituted, effective September 1, 2026. The Board has approved the convening of the 41st Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, September 26, 2026, to be held through Video Conferencing (VC)/Other Audio-Visual Means (OAVM), and has also approved the draft Notice of the AGM.
