NHPC Limited has announced an update regarding the commissioning of its 300 MW Grid Connected Solar PV Project located in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
Kamisar Project Achieves Full Capacity
The 300 MW Kamisar Solar Project/Plant has achieved its full capacity. This milestone follows the successful completion of the 5th and Final Phase, contributing an additional capacity of 85.72 MW to the project.
Commercial Operations and Power Agreement
With this achievement, the Plant is now ready for COD (Commercial Operation Date). The Power Usage Agreement (PUA) period is set for 25 years. The commencement of the PUA is contingent upon the approval of the Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission (PSERC) and the consent of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL), which is expected soon.
