Pankaj Polymers Limited has officially approved a significant rebranding and operational restructuring. Shareholders approved changing the company’s name to either “Rupia Tech Limited”, “Rupia Fin Limited”, or “Rupia Fintech Limited”, subject to regulatory approval. Additionally, the company will relocate its registered office from Telangana to the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The Object Clause of the Memorandum of Association has also been extensively revised to encompass a broader range of business activities.

Company Rebrands and Relocates

Pankaj Polymers Limited has announced substantial changes following its First Extra-Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) held on August 22, 2026. Shareholders have overwhelmingly approved a significant name change, with the company slated to become “Rupia Tech Limited”, “Rupia Fin Limited”, or “Rupia Fintech Limited”, pending final approval from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. This rebranding signifies a strategic shift for the organization.

Operational Jurisdiction Change

In parallel with the name change, the company’s registered office will be relocated. The shift is from the State of Telangana to the National Capital Territory of Delhi. This move will change the jurisdiction of the Registrar of Companies from Hyderabad to Delhi, marking a new phase in the company’s administrative and legal framework.

Expanded Business Objectives

Furthermore, the shareholders approved a comprehensive alteration of the Object Clause (Clause III) of the Memorandum of Association. This revision aims to expand and diversify the company’s scope of business activities, aligning with its future strategic growth plans. The updated objectives focus on areas such as electronic and virtual payment systems, e-commerce solutions, digital gifting, payment aggregation, and a wide array of IT-related services including software development, data processing, and internet-based businesses.

  • Providing and operating electronic and virtual payment systems, e-wallets, and payment gateway services.
  • Offering services related to prepaid and postpaid payment instruments, including consultancy.
  • Acting as a bill payment gateway service provider and a Bharat Bill Payment Operating Unit (BBPOU).
  • Engaging in digital and physical gifting, reward management, and e-commerce solutions.
  • Developing and managing software platforms, APIs, and mobile applications for digital rewards and loyalty systems.
  • Operating as a Payment Aggregator, facilitating payment processing and settlement for merchants.
  • Providing services in electronic commerce, web-based technologies, and data processing.
  • Marketing and sales representation for electronic commerce products and services.
  • Developing and acquiring intellectual property, including digital content and media rights.
  • Carrying on the business of computer and information technology, including software development and consultancy.
  • Providing electronic content for websites and internet-related services.
  • Engaging in distribution of loan products and insurance procurement as an intermediary.
