Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR) has announced changes in its senior management. Shri Swayambhu Arya and Shri Shrikant V. Janbandhu have taken over as Executive Directors. Shri Arya, with 27 years of experience in the logistics and transport sector, brings expertise in operations and management. Shri Janbandhu, an IRTS officer, has extensive experience in Indian Railways and the traffic department, holding qualifications including MBBS and a BA in Psychology. These appointments are effective from 29.07.2026 and 06.08.2026 respectively.
CONCOR Announces Senior Leadership Transitions
Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR) has officially notified key changes within its senior management team. In line with Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the company has appointed two new Executive Directors. These changes are aimed at strengthening the leadership and operational capabilities within the organization.
New Executive Directors Appointed
Shri Swayambhu Arya has been appointed as the new Executive Director (P&S). Shri Arya is an officer from the Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers and possesses over 27 years of experience in the logistics and transport sector. His background includes significant contributions in operations, maintenance, projects, and production verticals within both Indian Railways and CONCOR. His expertise also extends to capacity building for managerial levels, having served as a faculty member at the National Academy of Indian Railways. His absorption into this role was effective from July 29, 2026.
Joining him is Shri Shrikant V. Janbandhu, who takes charge as Executive Director (C&O). Shri Janbandhu is an Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer with a substantial track record in the Indian Railways, particularly within the Traffic Department and Rites Limited. Prior to this appointment, he served as Executive Director/Coaching in the Railway Board, Ministry of Railways. His academic qualifications include an MBBS and a BA (Additional) in Psychology. Shri Janbandhu’s appointment became effective from August 6, 2026.
These appointments underscore CONCOR’s commitment to leveraging experienced leadership to drive its strategic objectives and enhance its service delivery in the multi-modal logistics sector.
