During the AGM, shareholders will vote on the recommended final dividend of ₹2.35 per equity share for the Financial Year 2025-26. The record date for determining dividend eligibility has been fixed as Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
SAIL Schedules 54th Annual General Meeting
Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has officially set the date for its 54th Annual General Meeting (AGM). The meeting is scheduled to take place on Thursday, September 24, 2026, commencing at 10:30 AM. In line with modern practices, the AGM will be conducted through Video Conferencing (VC) or Other Audio Visual Means (OAVM).
Dividend Recommendation and Record Date
During the AGM, shareholders will be asked to approve the recommended Final Dividend of ₹2.35 per equity share, with each share having a face value of ₹10. This dividend proposal pertains to the Financial Year 2025-26, representing 23.50% of the company’s paid-up equity share capital. Shareholders eligible to receive this dividend will be determined by the record date, which has been fixed as Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
The company has also confirmed that the Notice of the AGM, along with the Annual Report for FY 2025-26, which includes audited financial statements and auditor’s reports, will be dispatched in due course. The recommended final dividend, if approved by the shareholders, is expected to be paid within 30 days of the AGM, subject to TDS.
