The company also fixed Wednesday, September 30, 2026, as the record date for determining shareholders eligible to receive the final dividend for FY 2025-26. The recommended dividend is ₹2.35 per equity share.
SAIL Announces AGM and Dividend Record Date
Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has formally announced the date for its 54th Annual General Meeting (AGM). The meeting is scheduled to take place on Thursday, September 24, 2026, commencing at 10:30 AM. This will be conducted virtually, allowing participation via Video Conferencing (VC) or Other Audio Visual Means (OAVM).
Record Date Set for Final Dividend
In conjunction with the AGM, SAIL has also fixed the record date for the final dividend for the Financial Year (FY) 2025-26. The record date has been set as Wednesday, September 30, 2026. This date will be used to identify shareholders who are eligible to receive the final dividend, as recommended by the Board of Directors. The company’s Board had previously recommended a final dividend of ₹2.35 per equity share of ₹10 each for FY 2025-26, representing 23.50% of the paid-up equity share capital.
Dividend Payout Timeline
Subject to the approval of the shareholders at the upcoming AGM, the final dividend for FY 2025-26 will be paid within 30 days from the date of approval by the shareholders, after deduction of applicable Tax Deducted at Source (TDS).
