Leadership Transition at Colgate-Palmolive India

Colgate-Palmolive (India) Limited has announced a significant change in its top leadership. The Board of Directors, in a meeting held on August 21, 2026, noted the resignation of Ms. Prabha Narasimhan from her role as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. Ms. Narasimhan’s resignation is effective from the close of business on September 27, 2026, as she is set to be promoted to the position of Executive Vice President – Marketing, Asia-Pacific Division of Colgate-Palmolive.

Appointment of New Managing Director & CEO

Following a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the Board has approved the appointment of Mr. Manish Anandani as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. This appointment is for a term of five consecutive years, commencing on September 28, 2026, succeeding Ms. Narasimhan. The appointment is contingent upon the approval of the Company’s shareholders and other applicable statutory approvals.

Mr. Manish Anandani’s Profile

Mr. Anandani brings an extensive background of over 30 years in sales, marketing, general management, and senior leadership roles. He joins Colgate-Palmolive from Kenvue (formerly Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health), where he served as the Managing Director for India and South Asia. His expertise spans enterprise strategy, digital and eCommerce transformation, and market expansion. Mr. Anandani has previously held various leadership positions within Kenvue, including Managing Director of Johnson & Johnson Philippines and VP Sales & Professional Marketing for India. He has prior experience with Colgate-Palmolive, having joined in 2005 and progressing through multiple roles before leaving in 2018.

Ms. Prabha Narasimhan’s Departure

Ms. Prabha Narasimhan’s resignation also means she will cease to be a Director of the Company and will step down from her roles on the Stakeholders’ Relationship Committee, ESG & Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, and Risk Management Committee, effective September 27, 2026. The company has expressed gratitude for her tenure and contributions.
