Ceigall India: Approves ₹29.44 Cr Investment in Highway Project Subsidiary

Ceigall India Limited announced that its Management Committee has approved the creation of security for a Rupee Term Loan facility and a further investment of ₹29.44 Crores into its subsidiary, Ceigall Indore Ujjain Greenfield Highway Limited. This investment, to be infused as equity share capital, is for the financing of a significant highway construction project. The subsidiary is developing the Indore Ujjain Greenfield Highway, a 48.10 km project awarded by the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation.

Strategic Investment in Infrastructure Project

Ceigall India Limited has received key approvals from its Management Committee for substantial financial actions concerning its subsidiary, Ceigall Indore Ujjain Greenfield Highway Limited. This subsidiary is the designated project special purpose vehicle (Project SPV) tasked with developing a critical highway infrastructure project.

Financial Approvals and Investment Details

The committee has sanctioned the creation of security arrangements in connection with a Rupee Term Loan facility allocated to the subsidiary. Furthermore, a significant investment of INR 29.44 Crores is slated to be infused by Ceigall India Limited and its subsidiary, CIPPL (Ceigall Infra Projects Private Limited), in the form of equity share capital. This infusion is crucial for financing the ongoing project requirements.

Project Background and Scope

The project involves the construction of the Indore Ujjain Greenfield (Access Control) 4-lane highway, spanning 48.10 km. The Letter of Award (LOA) for this project was received on 27th December 2025 from the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation Limited. The project is being executed under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM).

Subsidiary Details and Governance

Ceigall Indore Ujjain Greenfield Highway Limited, incorporated on 15/01/2026, has an authorized and paid-up share capital of ₹1,00,000/-. Its last reported turnover for FY ended 31st March 2026 was ₹0.40 Lakhs. Ceigall India Limited will hold 74% of the shareholding in the subsidiary, with CIPPL holding the remaining 26%. The meeting where these approvals were granted commenced at 11:45 A.M. (IST) and concluded at 12:05 P.M. (IST) on 19th August 2026.
