HDFC Mutual Fund has disclosed a significant increase in its investment in Indigo Paints Limited. In a filing dated August 18, 2026, the fund manager stated that as of August 14, 2026, the combined holdings of its various schemes in Indigo Paints have reached 7.886% of the company’s total paid-up equity share capital. This marks a substantial rise from the previously reported holding of 5.066% as of March 4, 2025.

Details of Shareholding Increase

The acquisition of additional shares has resulted in an increase of 2.831% in HDFC Mutual Fund’s shareholding in Indigo Paints. The disclosed equity share capital for the transaction is approximately Rs. 47,73,26,370/-, represented by 4,77,32,637 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each. The acquisition was conducted via the Open Market.
