PC Jeweller Limited today confirmed its ongoing commitment to financial strength by successfully clearing and repaying outstanding debt with an additional bank. This strategic move, dated August 18, 2026, is a crucial step in the company’s objective to achieve a debt-free status within the current quarter. The company has diligently fulfilled its obligations under the terms of a Settlement Agreement originally dated September 30, 2024.
Significant Debt Reduction Achieved
With this latest repayment, PC Jeweller has now successfully settled its outstanding debt with 8 out of its 14 consortium banks. Notably, all these repayments were completed ahead of their scheduled due dates, underscoring the company’s proactive financial management. Furthermore, the company has discharged more than 96% of the outstanding debt owed to the remaining 6 banks. PC Jeweller remains firmly on track to discharge the final less than 4% of its outstanding debt, reinforcing its balance sheet and strengthening its overall financial position.
