Infosys: Partners Knorr-Bremse for AI-Enabled Enterprise Transformation

Infosys has entered a strategic, long-term collaboration with Knorr-Bremse AG to accelerate the latter’s AI-enabled enterprise transformation. Leveraging Infosys Topaz, the partnership aims to modernize Knorr-Bremse’s IT systems, enhance operational efficiency, and improve service quality across its global SAP and PLM application landscape. This engagement covers end-to-end managed services for both Rail and Commercial Vehicle divisions.

Strategic AI Transformation Partnership

Infosys announced today a strategic, long-term collaboration with Knorr-Bremse AG, a global manufacturer of braking systems and safety-critical components for rail and commercial vehicles. This partnership is designed to accelerate Knorr-Bremse’s AI-enabled enterprise transformation, a key initiative under its Tech4Value (T4V) IT transformation program.

Leveraging Infosys Topaz for Modernization

Through this collaboration, Infosys will deliver end-to-end managed services for Knorr-Bremse’s entire enterprise application ecosystem, spanning both its Rail and Commercial Vehicle divisions. The engagement will leverage Infosys Topaz, Infosys’s Al-first offering, combining generative and agentic AI technologies. The goal is to modernize IT systems, improve operational efficiency, and enhance service quality across Knorr-Bremse’s global SAP and PLM application landscape.

The collaboration is expected to help Knorr-Bremse AG simplify and modernize its IT landscape, improve service quality for its global workforce, and accelerate its shift towards a value-driven, future-ready IT operating model. The scope encompasses the full enterprise application stack, from core ERP and data platforms to engineering and product lifecycle systems. Beyond technology modernization, the transformation aims to strengthen operational resilience, compliance, and service governance, while enabling faster innovation cycles and enhanced employee experience.
