Post-release, Deutsche Bank AG, Mumbai Branch, continues to hold a pledge over 140,263,700 equity shares of Piramal Pharma Limited. These remaining pledged shares represent 10.54% of the total issued and paid-up share capital on a fully diluted basis and 10.59% of the total voting capital. These are identified as “Pledged Shares.”
The disclosure clarifies that Deutsche Bank AG does not hold any beneficial interest in the Pledged Shares, acting solely in its capacity as a pledgee.
Transaction Context
This disclosure is made in accordance with Regulation 29(2) of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011.
