Mr. Rakesh Thakur’s Profile
The newly appointed CFO, Mr. Rakesh Thakur, is a Chartered Accountant with an extensive career spanning over 22 years. His professional journey includes leadership positions in prominent consumer and multinational companies. Prior to joining Campus Activewear, he served as the Group Chief Financial Officer at Imagine Marketing Limited (boAt), where he played a pivotal role in driving financial and strategic initiatives, contributing to profitable growth and enhanced EBITDA. His prior experience also encompasses senior roles at Hindustan Unilever Limited, GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, Samsung India, and PepsiCo.
Mr. Thakur holds a Commerce degree from the University of Delhi and has received recognition for his contributions, including the Unilever Global Recognition for the GSK-HUL Virtual Merger and the GSK Innovation Excellence Award. His expertise covers P&L management, business finance, controllership, supply chain finance, governance, transformation, and M&A/integration, as well as leadership in finance functions and business transformation.
Board Authorisation for Disclosures
In line with regulatory requirements, the Board of Directors has also authorized a list of Key Managerial Personnel (KMPs) to determine the materiality of events and information for disclosures to stock exchanges.
