Profile of Mr. Ratheesh R
Mr. Ratheesh R is a seasoned banking professional with a distinguished career spanning over 39 years. He commenced his banking journey in 1984 with the erstwhile Corporation Bank. Prior to his current role, he retired as a General Manager from Union Bank of India in April 2023. During his extensive career, Mr. Ratheesh R has amassed diverse experience across various banking functions, including credit portfolio management, MSME and large corporate lending, export credit, risk evaluation, and stressed asset recovery management. He has also contributed his expertise as a faculty member for NIBM, Pune.
He joined Karnataka Bank Limited as ‘Head-Training’ at the Staff Training College in Mangaluru on August 17, 2023, in the cadre of General Manager on a contract basis for an initial period of three years. His professional qualifications include CAIIB and various certifications from the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, covering areas such as Credit, Ethics, Strategic Management, and Risk.
