Voltas: Q1 FY27 Revenue Jumps 18.5% to ₹4,765 Crore

Voltas Limited announced its unaudited financial results for the first quarter of FY27, ending June 30, 2026. The company reported a substantial 18.5% increase in consolidated total income to ₹4,765 crore, up from ₹4,021 crore in the same period last year. Profit Before Tax (PBT) saw a significant rise of 40.4% to ₹285 crore, with Profit After Tax (PAT) growing by 50.4% to ₹213 crore. The company highlighted strong performance across its business segments, particularly in Unitary Cooling Products.

Voltas Reports Strong Q1 FY27 Financial Performance

Voltas Limited has disclosed its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, showcasing robust growth across its operations. The company’s consolidated total income for the first quarter of FY27 surged by 18.5% to ₹4,765 crore, compared to ₹4,021 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. This impressive revenue growth underscores the company’s strong market position and operational efficiency.

Profitability Boosted by Segmental Performance

The company’s profitability also saw significant improvement. Profit Before Tax (PBT) for Q1 FY27 rose by 40.4% to ₹285 crore, up from ₹203 crore in Q1 FY26. Consequently, Profit After Tax (PAT) witnessed a substantial increase of 50.4%, reaching ₹213 crore from ₹141 crore in the prior year’s comparable period. This enhanced profitability reflects the successful execution of Voltas’ business strategies.

Key Segment Contributions

The consolidated segment revenue report for the quarter highlights the strong performance of its core businesses. Unitary Cooling Products (Segment A) generated revenue of ₹3,794 crore, a notable increase from ₹2,868 crore in Q1 FY26, with segment results at ₹202 crore. The Electro-Mechanical Projects and Services (Segment B) contributed ₹672 crore in revenue, while Engineering Products and Services (Segment C) reported ₹159 crore. The company emphasized that Segment ‘A’ is seasonal and typically sees its highest sales in the first quarter.

Market Leadership and Future Outlook

Voltas reiterated its market leadership in Room Air Conditioners, achieving a 17.3% secondary market share for FY27 up to June 2026 and widening its lead over the nearest competitor. The company also achieved a milestone by selling 1 million Room Air Conditioners in just 81 days. Voltbek, the home appliances business, also demonstrated strong growth, recording its highest-ever quarterly sales. The Managing Director, Mukundan Menon C P, commented that Q1 FY27 was a defining quarter, reflecting the strength of brands, the business model’s resilience, and the effectiveness of the long-term strategy, positioning Voltas well to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
