Despite the typical seasonal softness in the construction industry due to the monsoon, the company maintained its disciplined execution capability and focus on operational efficiency.
Standalone Financial Highlights
On a standalone basis, Ceigall India’s revenue from operations for Q1 FY27 stood at INR901 crore, marking a significant year-on-year growth of 10.2% compared to INR818 crore in Q1 FY26. The company’s EBITDA for the quarter was INR121 crore, up from INR94 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. This resulted in an improvement in EBITDA margin to 13.4% from 11.4% in Q1 FY26. Standalone profit after tax for Q1 FY27 was INR75 crore, an increase from INR56 crore in the previous year, with the PAT margin improving to 8.4% from 6.8% in Q1 FY26.
Consolidated Financial Performance
The consolidated financial performance also demonstrated robust growth. Revenue from operations for Q1 FY27 reached INR970 crore, a substantial 15.7% increase year-on-year from INR838 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Operational Performance and Order Book
Ceigall India continues to exhibit a strong execution engine, with 39 ongoing projects across various infrastructure segments. As of June 30, 2026, the company’s order book stood at an impressive INR18,568 crore, providing strong multi-year revenue visibility. The order book diversifies across 19 EPC projects, 10 HAM projects, 1 DBFOT project, and 9 tariff-based renewable and transmission projects, reflecting the company’s strategic expansion beyond roads and highways into sectors like renewable energy, transmission, distribution, metro rail, and industrial infrastructure.
Strategic Developments
A key development during the quarter was the successful monetization of a Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) asset through the divestment of the Malout-Abohar-Sadhuwali project. This milestone validates the company’s capital recycling strategy. Ceigall India also signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for a Solar BESS at Morena and emerged as L1 bidder for a standalone battery storage project, further strengthening its renewable energy platform. Additionally, the company signed the concession agreement for the Ambala-Chandigarh-Zirakpur HAM project and received appointed dates for the VRK 11, VRK 12, and Indore-Ujjain Greenfield HAM projects, enabling commencement of execution. The company also emerged as L1 bidder for a highway project in Arunachal Pradesh, bolstering its project pipeline.
