Consolidated Financial Performance (Q1 FY27 vs. Q4 FY26 & Q1 FY26)
On a consolidated basis, IRCON’s total income experienced a significant decrease, falling by 38.4% to ₹1926.5 crore in Q1FY27 compared to ₹3126.4 crore in Q4FY26. Year-on-year, consolidated total income decreased by 38.4% from ₹3126.4 crore in Q4FY26 and showed an increase of 8.8% to ₹1771.4 crore in Q1FY26. Revenue from operations also saw a substantial drop of 39.9% to ₹1800.3 crore in Q1FY27 versus ₹2997.8 crore in Q4FY26. EBITDA for the quarter stood at ₹221.8 crore, a decrease of 14.7% from ₹259.9 crore in Q4FY26. Profit Before Tax (PBT) was ₹203.5 crore, down 17.2% from ₹245.7 crore in Q4FY26. Profit After Tax (PAT) was ₹163.5 crore, a decline of 14.8% from ₹192.0 crore in Q4FY26. Earnings Per Share (EPS) for the quarter (not annualized) was ₹1.74, a decrease of 14.7% from ₹2.04 in Q4FY26.
Compared to Q1FY26, consolidated total income increased by 8.8% to ₹1771.4 crore. Revenue from operations grew by 8.2% to ₹1664.2 crore. EBITDA saw a 5.7% increase to ₹209.8 crore. PBT rose by 4.6% to ₹194.6 crore. PAT increased by 8.6% to ₹150.6 crore. EPS for the quarter (not annualized) was ₹1.60, marking an 8.7% increase.

In the year-on-year (Y-o-Y) comparison for the consolidated results, total income stood at ₹2042.7 crore in Q1FY27, up from ₹1892.4 crore in Q1FY26. Revenue from operations was ₹1955.8 crore, compared to ₹1786.3 crore in Q1FY26. EBITDA was ₹278.7 crore, a decrease from ₹323.9 crore in Q1FY26, with the EBITDA margin at 13.6%. Profit Before Tax was ₹126.8 crore, down from ₹211.5 crore in Q1FY26. Profit After Tax was ₹92.0 crore, against ₹164.1 crore in Q1FY26. EPS for the quarter (not annualized) was ₹0.99 per equity share.
Quarter-on-quarter (Q-o-Q), consolidated total income in Q1FY27 was ₹2042.7 crore, down from ₹3291.2 crore in Q4FY26. Revenue from operations was ₹1955.8 crore, compared to ₹3189.0 crore in Q4FY26. EBITDA stood at ₹278.7 crore, a decrease from ₹389.2 crore in Q4FY26, with the EBITDA margin also at 13.6%. Profit Before Tax was ₹126.8 crore, against ₹247.8 crore in Q4FY26. Profit After Tax was ₹92.0 crore, compared to ₹191.5 crore in Q4FY26. EPS for the quarter (not annualized) was ₹0.99 per equity share.
Order Book Status
As of June 30, 2026, IRCON’s total order book stood at an impressive ₹23,366 crore. This substantial order book is comprised of ₹17,989 crore from Railways, ₹3,747 crore from Highways, and ₹1,630 crore from other segments.

The company noted that India’s infrastructure sector is experiencing strong growth, driven by government initiatives, private sector participation, and rapid urbanization.
