Indo Count Industries: Q1 FY27 Revenue Hits Record ₹1,224 Crore

Indo Count Industries has announced its financial results for the first quarter of FY27, reporting a record consolidated quarterly revenue of ₹1,224 crore, marking a 26.5% YoY growth. EBITDA also saw a significant recovery, increasing to ₹160 crore with a margin of 13.1%. The company highlighted strong performance from its new business segments, which contributed 1/3rd of total revenue, and improved utilization in its U.S. facilities.

Record Revenue and Profitability in Q1 FY27

Indo Count Industries Limited announced its financial results for the first quarter of the financial year 2027 (Q1 FY27), showcasing significant growth and improved profitability. The company achieved an all-time high consolidated quarterly revenue of ₹1,224 crore, representing a robust 26.5% year-over-year (YoY) growth. This record revenue demonstrates the company’s expanding market reach and successful business strategies.

Margin Recovery and EBITDA Growth

The company also reported a strong recovery in its margins, with EBITDA increasing by 34.1% YoY to ₹160 crore. The EBITDA margin stood at 13.1%, an improvement of 74 basis points (bps) YoY and 241 bps QoQ. This margin expansion is attributed to improved operating leverage driven by the scale-up of new businesses and stronger volumes in the core business segment.

New Business Contributes Significantly

A key highlight of the quarter was the substantial contribution from new business initiatives, which accounted for approximately 1/3rd of the total revenue. The new business segment scaled rapidly, reaching ₹387 crore, which is nearly 3X YoY and up 44% QoQ. This diversification into new segments is a testament to Indo Count’s strategic focus on expanding its product portfolio and market presence.

Operational Highlights in the US

In its U.S. operations, the utility bedding facilities achieved a utilization rate of 60% – 65%, despite the ramp-up of new facilities. This indicates efficient capacity utilization and growing demand for its products in the North American market.

Sustainability Achievements

Indo Count Industries also continued its focus on sustainability, receiving 3 awards during the CITI Textile Sustainability Awards 2026. This recognition underscores the company’s commitment to environmentally responsible manufacturing and sustainable sourcing practices.

Volume and Income Performance

In terms of volume, the company maintained stable throughput, with total income growing by 27%, significantly boosted by the contributions from its new businesses. The total income reached ₹1,224 crore in Q1 FY27, compared to ₹967 crore in Q1 FY26.
