The company demonstrated significant year-over-year growth across key financial metrics, underscoring its solid operational performance and strategic market positioning.
Financial Highlights: Q1 FY27 vs. Q1 FY26
The company’s Operating Revenue for Q1FY27 stood at ₹840.8 crore, marking a substantial increase of 35.6% compared to ₹620.0 crore in Q1FY26. This growth was driven primarily by strong performance in the UK & Europe, contributing ₹356 crore, and sustained momentum in other key geographies.
Gross Profit rose by 38.9% to ₹497.3 crore from ₹358.2 crore in the prior year quarter. Consequently, the Gross Margin improved by 138 basis points to 59.1%.
EBITDA experienced remarkable growth of 112.8%, reaching ₹213.0 crore in Q1FY27, up from ₹100.1 crore in Q1FY26. The EBITDA Margin expanded significantly by 919 basis points to 25.3%.
Profit After Tax (PAT) surged by 173.9% to ₹159.4 crore in Q1FY27, compared to ₹58.2 crore in Q1FY26. The Net Profit Margin improved substantially to 18.4%.
Geographical Performance Insights
The revenue breakdown by geography highlights strong contributions from US & North America (₹377 crore, +15.1% YoY) and UK & Europe (₹356 crore, +74.7% YoY). Australia & New Zealand also showed robust growth with ₹88 crore (+53.7% YoY), while the Rest of World segment contributed ₹20 crore (-36.8% YoY).
Strategic Progress and Balance Sheet Strength
The company reported strategic progress, including the establishment of its Europe front-end with acquisitions like QliniQ B.V. and ABCnow GmbH. Marksans Pharma maintained a strong balance sheet with a cash balance of ₹1,058 crore as of June 30, 2026, and a net cash position of ₹1,031 crore, indicating strong cash generation and disciplined capital allocation.
