The company organized the plantation of 50,000 native saplings and clean-up drives across 50 beaches in India. This initiative underscores HCLTech’s commitment to sustainability, community engagement, and environmental stewardship, impacting over 8.5 million lives to date through various programs.
HCLTech Marks 50 Years with Environmental Drive
NOIDA, August 11, 2026 – HCLFoundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of HCLTech in India, has launched a significant environmental campaign to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the HCL Group. The initiative includes the plantation of 50,000 native saplings and the organization of clean-up drives at 50 beaches nationwide.
Commitment to Sustainability
These environmental drives, conducted across 10 states, involved HCLTech employees, their families, nonprofit partners, and community members. The efforts align with HCLFoundation’s broader sustainability agenda, aiming to strengthen ecosystems, conserve natural resources, and promote environmental stewardship within communities. To date, HCLFoundation has successfully managed community-led conservation of 74,000 acres of land and harvested over 155 billion liters of water. Coastal conservation efforts have also seen the planting of more than 181,000 saplings and the collection of over 120,800 kg of marine debris.
