Experience and Qualifications
Mr. Sur’s extensive professional background includes over 17 years of experience in company secretarial, legal, compliance, and corporate governance. He is a qualified member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ACS). Academically, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from Pune University and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Honours) from Dibrugarh University, Assam. Prior to this role, Mr. Sur was instrumental as Company Secretary & Head – Legal at Kingfa Science & Technology (India) Limited for nearly a decade, where he managed critical compliance and governance functions.
Governance and Compliance Focus
In his new capacity, Mr. Sur will be responsible for all duties pertaining to the Company Secretary & Compliance Officer roles, as mandated by the Companies Act, 2013, and SEBI Listing Regulations. The company highlighted that Mr. Sur has no direct or indirect financial relationships with any directors or their relatives, ensuring an independent oversight of governance matters.
