Bharti Hexacom: Q1 FY27 Revenue Grows 4% to ₹2,510 Crore

Bharti Hexacom Reports Strong Q1 FY27 Performance

Bharti Hexacom has announced its financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027 (Q1 FY27), showcasing a solid performance across its key business segments. The company reported a sequential revenue growth of 4%, reaching ₹2,510 Crore for the quarter. The Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDAal) was reported at ₹1,210 Crore, maintaining a healthy margin of 48.2%.

Customer Acquisition and ARPU

The mobile customer base expanded to 29 million, with net customer additions for the quarter totaling 210,000. The company saw a significant increase in smartphone customer additions, with 344,000 new users. The Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) for the quarter was ₹259, benefiting from an extra day during the period.

Homes and Other Businesses Momentum

Bharti Hexacom’s homes, office, and other businesses also demonstrated strong momentum. These segments collectively achieved net additions of 75,000, driving an approximately 8% sequential revenue growth. The company continues to focus on densification, network modernization, and expanding its homes and IPTV business.

Financial Health and Capex

The company’s operating free cash generation, calculated as EBITDAal minus capex, stood at approximately ₹830 Crore. Bharti Hexacom maintains a robust balance sheet with a net debt excluding leases of around ₹960 Crore. The net debt to EBITDAal ratio improved to 0.2, indicating strong financial management.

Capex for the quarter was directed towards 5G densification, network modernization, and growing the homes and IPTV business. The company aims to maintain a healthy competitive and profitable growth trajectory, with plans to spend adequately to drive this growth.
