Key Consolidated Financial Highlights for Q1 FY27
The company reported significant year-on-year growth across key financial metrics:
- Revenue: Increased by 33% to ₹1,364 crore in Q1 FY27, compared to ₹1,026 crore in Q1 FY26. This growth reflects increased scale, growing wallet share with OEMs, and premiumization-led value enhancement.
- EBITDA: Rose by 51% YoY to ₹205 crore, with EBITDA margins improving to 15.1%, up from 13.2% in the prior year. This enhancement is attributed to operational efficiencies and cost optimization.
- PBT (before exceptional item): Grew by 78% YoY to ₹132 crore.
- PAT (before minority interest): Surged by 83% YoY to ₹99 crore, driven by technologically led operational excellence and improved asset utilization.
- EPS: Saw a substantial increase of 109%, reaching 12.7 compared to 6.1 in the previous year.
Operational Performance Highlights
In terms of operational performance for Q1 FY27, Lumax Auto Technologies saw shifts in its segment contributions:
- Passenger Vehicles: Constituted 52% of the business, down from 55% in Q1 FY26.
- 2/3 Wheelers: Increased to 27% from 21% in the prior year.
- Aftermarket: Represented 8%, a decrease from 10%.
- Commercial Vehicles: Accounted for 8%, down from 11%.
- Others: Made up 5%, an increase from 3%.

- Advance Plastics: Accounted for 56% in Q1 FY27, up from 51% in Q1 FY26.

- Aftermarket: At 8%, down from 10%.
- Mechatronics: At 6%, up from 5%.
- Alternate fuels: At 8%, down from 9%.

During the quarter, the company introduced several new products, including a Body Control Module (BCM) for PVs (MSIL Ertiga), Moulded Parts for 2/3 Wheelers (TVS, HMSI), an LED Head Lamp for Platina (Bajaj), and a Swing Arm for Pulsar (Bajaj).
