Gland Pharma: Q1 FY27 Revenue Surges 20% to ₹18,003 Mn

Gland Pharma Limited has announced its financial results for the first quarter of FY27, ending June 30, 2026. The company reported a substantial 20% year-on-year increase in revenue, reaching ₹18,003 million. Profit After Tax (PAT) also saw significant growth, rising by 47% year-on-year to ₹3,170 million. The results reflect strong performance driven by recent product launches and increased demand across its CDMO and B2B segments.

Gland Pharma Reports Strong Q1 FY27 Performance

Gland Pharma Limited has officially declared its financial results for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2027, which concluded on June 30, 2026. The company has demonstrated robust growth, with its consolidated revenue from operations reaching ₹18,003 million, marking a significant 20% increase compared to the same period in the previous year (Q1 FY26), which stood at ₹15,056 million. This performance underscores the company’s expanding market presence and successful strategic execution.

Profitability Boosted by Operational Efficiency

The company’s profitability metrics have also shown remarkable improvement. Profit Before Tax (PBT) for Q1 FY27 was ₹4,350 million, a 39% rise year-on-year from ₹3,127 million in Q1 FY26. Following this, the Profit After Tax (PAT) for the quarter stood at ₹3,170 million, an impressive 47% increase compared to ₹2,155 million in the prior year’s comparable quarter. The PAT margin for Q1 FY27 was reported at 18%, up from 14% in Q1 FY26.

Segment-wise Performance Highlights

Gland Pharma’s business segments both contributed positively to the overall growth. The CDMO business reported revenues of ₹8,915 million, a 20% year-on-year growth. Simultaneously, the B2B segment generated revenues of ₹9,088 million, showing a 19% year-on-year increase. These figures highlight a balanced growth strategy across its key business verticals.

Geographical Market Performance

Performance across key geographical markets remains strong. The US market continues to be a significant contributor, with revenue from operations reaching ₹9,810 million in Q1 FY27, a substantial 32% year-on-year growth. Europe also saw a healthy 20% year-on-year revenue increase, amounting to ₹3,954 million. While Canada, Australia, and New Zealand experienced a revenue decline of 28% year-on-year to ₹534 million, the Rest of the World and India markets showed positive growth of 2% and 12% respectively.

Strategic Initiatives Driving Growth

The company also provided updates on its strategic initiatives. Total R&D expenses for Q1 FY27 were ₹772 million, representing 4% of consolidated revenue. Recent product launches in the US, including Multi-Vitamin and Leucovorin calcium, are contributing to CDMO growth. The company is also actively pursuing partnerships and collaborations, including a CDMO partnership with a global pharmaceutical company expected to generate annualized revenue of approximately USD 90-100 million.
