Greenpanel Industries Limited has released its financial and operational highlights for the first quarter of the financial year 2027 (Q1 FY27), covering the period ending June 30, 2026. The company demonstrated robust growth across key financial and operational parameters.
Key Financial Highlights
Total revenue for Q1 FY27 stood at ₹349.9 crore, marking an increase of 8.5% year-on-year (y-o-y) and a decrease of 10.6% from the previous quarter (Q4 FY26). Raw Material Cost saw a decrease of 3.3% y-o-y and 19.1% quarter-on-quarter. The Gross Margin significantly improved to 52.7%, a substantial gain of 5.7% y-o-y and 4.9% q-o-q. Operating EBITDA reported at ₹33.5 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 9.6%, up from 4.0% in Q1 FY26. Reported EBITDA was ₹32.5 crore.
Operational Performance
The company saw a 12% y-o-y increase in MDF Domestic Volumes and a 7.4% y-o-y rise in MDF Domestic ASP. Ply Volumes also grew by 10.4% y-o-y. Notably, “Zero Export sales” were recorded during Q1 FY27 due to ongoing geopolitical developments in the Middle East. Capacity utilization for MDF improved to 51%, with production increasing by 8.0%.
Balance Sheet and Working Capital
The Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC) was 42 days as of June 30, 2026, compared to 38 days on March 31, 2026. Net Debt was reported at ₹141 crore, a reduction of approximately ₹15 crore since March 31, 2026. Working Capital slightly increased due to seasonality but remained lower than the previous year’s same period. Credit ratings for working capital facilities were reaffirmed at ‘A+’ by ICRA.

Greenpanel Industries continues to focus on strengthening its brand presence through national television reach and industry print leadership. The company also participated in trade exhibitions, showcasing its innovation at Bharat Buildcon 2026. Initiatives to expand market reach include dealer brandings, in-shop brandings, and engagement with carpenters and contractors.
