The company reported a consolidated profit after tax of ₹106,068.67 million, marking a significant 95% year-on-year growth. This strong performance was driven by a substantial expansion in the core gold loan portfolio, higher gold price realizations, and record momentum in new customer onboarding, with standalone loan assets crossing the ₹1.62 trillion mark.

Muthoot Finance Limited has declared a remarkable financial performance for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026. The company reported a consolidated profit after tax of ₹106,068.67 million, a substantial increase of 95% compared to the previous fiscal year. This performance highlights the company’s robust growth trajectory, fueled by a significant expansion in its core gold loan portfolio, higher gold price realisations, and a record increase in new customer onboarding.

Key Financial Highlights

The company’s standalone loan assets crossed the significant milestone of ₹1.62 lakh Crores, registering a 50% year-on-year growth. The gold loan portfolio demonstrated exceptional resilience, with consolidated Gold Loan AUM increasing by 54% to ₹16,50,299 million. Muthoot Finance also recorded its highest-ever profitability, with standalone profit after tax reaching ₹106.07 billion, an increase of 98%.

Customer Growth and Market Position

The company achieved its strongest year of new customer acquisition in its history, disbursing ₹293.47 billion in gold loans to 1.77 million new customers. This demonstrates Muthoot Finance’s commitment to financial inclusion and its ability to attract a broad customer base. The company maintained its status as the only ‘pure play’ Gold Loan NBFC in the Upper Layer classification by the Reserve Bank of India for the fourth consecutive year, reinforcing its leading position in the market.
