NLC India: Q1 FY27 Revenue Grows 15% to ₹2,871 Crore

NLC India Limited has reported its financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company announced a standalone revenue from operations of ₹2,871.73 crore, a 15.07% increase year-on-year. Standalone profit before tax also saw a growth of 3.76%. The group’s revenue from operations grew by 23.29% to ₹4,716.75 crore, with profit before tax increasing by 9.76%.

NLC India Limited has released its financial results for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2026-27, ending June 30, 2026. The company reported significant year-on-year growth across key financial metrics, highlighting robust operational performance.

Standalone Financial Highlights (Q1 FY27 vs Q1 FY26)

For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, NLC India’s standalone revenue from operations reached ₹2,871.73 crore, marking a substantial increase of 15.07% compared to ₹2,495.60 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year. The Total Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) stood at ₹1,013.13 crore, an increase of 1.13%. Total Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the quarter was ₹548.67 crore, up by 3.76% from ₹528.78 crore in the prior year. The company’s Net-Worth as of June 30, 2026, strengthened to ₹19,701.70 crore, reflecting a growth of 10.53% from ₹17,824.83 crore in the previous year. Furthermore, the collection efficiency of Power Debtors remained strong at 100%.

Group Financial Highlights (Q1 FY27 vs Q1 FY26)

On a consolidated basis, NLC India’s Group revenue from operations surged by 23.29% to ₹4,716.75 crore in Q1 FY27, up from ₹3,825.61 crore in Q1 FY26. The Group’s EBITDA showed a healthy increase of 18.71%, amounting to ₹1,699.59 crore. Total Profit Before Tax for the Group was ₹651.55 crore, a growth of 9.76% over the previous year’s ₹593.60 crore. The Group’s Net-Worth as of June 30, 2026, stood at a robust ₹22,069.07 crore, representing a growth of 13.11% compared to ₹19,511.56 crore in the previous year.

Key Physical Performance Indicators

In terms of physical performance, standalone coal production increased by 7.84% to 40.85 LT compared to 37.88 LT in Q1 FY26. Thermal Power Gross Generation also saw a positive trend, growing by 8.27% to 4,318.85 MU from 3,988.98 MU. At the Group level, Gross Power Generation witnessed a significant jump of 25.00%, reaching 8,262.06 MU compared to 6,609.40 MU in the same period last year.
