IndianOil Concludes FY 2025-26 with Strong Performance
IndianOil Corporation Limited has announced record-breaking performance across its operations for the financial year ending March 31, 2026. The company achieved its highest-ever crude throughput of 75.45 MMT, operating at an impressive 107.4% of its installed capacity. This strong physical performance was matched by robust financial results, including record domestic petroleum sales of 88.97 MMT and a net profit of ₹36,802 Crore.
Project SPRINT and Green Energy Initiatives
The company’s strategic transformation program, Project SPRINT, launched in April 2025, has been instrumental in driving improvements across profitability, productivity, and capital efficiency. During the year, IndianOil accelerated its shift towards green energy with significant investments in new-age fuels, renewable energy, green hydrogen, and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). The company also reported progress on its integrated refining system, aiming to increase commissioned group refining capacity to around 98 MMTPA by 2027-28.
Operational Excellence and Market Reach
IndianOil demonstrated operational excellence throughout the year, with refineries achieving their best-ever Energy Intensity Index (EII) of 90.1. The company also expanded its market reach by commissioning 2,635 new retail outlets during the year, taking the total network to 42,818 outlets. The clean mobility ecosystem also saw significant expansion, with EV charging and battery-swapping facilities growing to over 15,000 locations.
