Healthcare Global Enterprises Limited (HCG), a prominent cancer care provider, has announced its financial results for the first quarter of the financial year 2027 (Q1 FY27), ending June 30, 2026. The company has demonstrated robust performance, with revenue from operations increasing by 13% year-on-year to INR 6,951 million.
Key Financial Highlights (Consolidated)
The consolidated results highlight significant growth and improved profitability:
- Revenue from Operations grew to INR 6,951 million in Q1 FY27, compared to INR 6,132 million in Q1 FY26.
- Adjusted EBITDA saw a substantial increase of 20% year-on-year, reaching INR 1,339 million from INR 1,118 million in the prior year period.
- EBITDA Margin improved to 19.4% in Q1 FY27, up from 18.2% in Q1 FY26, indicating enhanced operational efficiency.
- Adjusted PAT (Profit After Tax) rose to INR 138 million from INR 47 million, a 190% year-on-year increase.
The company noted that the North Bangalore hospital, which commenced operations in May 2026, contributed INR 67 million to the Q1 FY27 revenue. Revenue growth was primarily driven by a 11% volume growth year-on-year, with Average Realization Per Patient (ARPP) growing by 2%.
Strategic Growth and Expansion
Dr. B. S. Ajaikumar, Founder and Non-Executive Chairman, expressed confidence in HCG’s integrated oncology model and commitment to clinical excellence. Dr. Manish Mattoo, Executive Director & CEO, commented on the strong start to FY27, emphasizing broad-based growth across the network and sustained demand for oncology services. The company is focusing on increasing its share of high-complexity oncology care and non-institutional business, which contributed 69% of revenue in Q1 FY27.
Key business developments during the quarter include the commissioning of a new 120+ bed hospital in North Bangalore, adding 56 operational beds in its first phase. The company also added a total of 121 operational beds across its network, including facilities in Ranchi, Borivali, Nashik, Hubli, and Kenya. Rajkot hospital was upgraded to a Comprehensive Cancer Care (CCC) Centre, and HCG expanded its robotic surgery capabilities with two new surgical robotic systems.
