Deepak Nitrite Limited has achieved a key operational milestone with the commissioning of its new manufacturing plant for Methyl Isobutyl Ketone (MIBK) and Methyl Isobutyl Carbinol (MIBC). The operations commenced on August 6, 2026, at the facility located in Dahej, District Bharuch, Gujarat.
Significant Capital Investment
The development of this plant, along with its associated offsite utilities and infrastructure, represents a substantial investment. The total capital expenditure incurred for this project amounts to approximately ₹735 crore as of the commencement of manufacturing operations. This expansion is undertaken by Deepak Chem Tech Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Deepak Nitrite.
