Jindal Steel Limited (formerly known as Jindal Steel & Power Limited) has officially announced its 47th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the financial year ended March 31, 2026. The meeting is scheduled to be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, commencing at 11:00 a.m. IST. To facilitate broader participation and adhere to current health guidelines, the AGM will be conducted entirely through Video Conferencing (VC) / Other Audio Visual Means (OAVM).

Key Business Transacted at the AGM

The agenda for the ordinary business at the AGM includes the consideration and adoption of the Audited Standalone and Consolidated Financial Statements of the Company for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, along with the respective reports from the Board of Directors and Auditors.

Furthermore, the Members will consider the declaration of a final dividend. The Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend of ₹2 per equity share (representing 200% on face value of ₹1 each) on the fully paid-up equity shares of the Company. This dividend is subject to the approval of the Members at the AGM.

Director Appointments and Other Business

The AGM agenda also includes the appointment of Mr. Naveen Jindal, who retires by rotation and is eligible for re-appointment as a Director. Additionally, the appointment of Ms. Aabha Bakaya and Mr. Vikas Sehgal as Independent Directors of the Company will be considered.

The notice further states that the company has appointed M/s S S Kothari Mehta & Co. LLP as Statutory Auditors and M/s Shome & Banerjee as Cost Auditors for the upcoming financial year.
