SJVN: FY26 Profit Rises to ₹1,007.90 Crore on Strong Revenue Growth

SJVN Limited announced its financial results for the fiscal year 2025-26, reporting a significant increase in total revenue to ₹3,869.66 crore from ₹3,252.44 crore in the previous year. The company’s Profit After Tax (PAT) saw a notable rise of 3.89% to ₹1,007.90 crore, compared to ₹970.18 crore in FY 2024-25. This performance reflects strong operational capabilities and strategic growth initiatives.

SJVN Reports Strong Financial Performance for FY 2025-26

SJVN Limited has announced its financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, showcasing robust growth in both revenue and profitability. The standalone total income increased to ₹3,869.66 crore from ₹3,252.44 crore in the previous year. Consequently, the Profit After Tax (PAT) rose by 3.89% to ₹1,007.90 crore, up from ₹970.18 crore in FY 2024-25.

Operational Highlights and Dividend Recommendation

The company’s performance reflects operational excellence and strategic initiatives, including achievements in generation capacity and project execution. The Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend of ₹0.35 per equity share, in addition to the interim dividend of ₹1.15 per equity share already paid. This brings the total dividend for FY 2025–26 to ₹1.50 per equity share, subject to shareholder approval.

Corporate Structure and Investments

SJVN operates through its subsidiaries, including SJVN Thermal Private Limited and SJVN Green Energy Limited, which are in the operational stage. The company also has interests in joint venture entities. The consolidated financial statements reflect a decrease in profit compared to standalone figures, mainly due to losses in subsidiary companies and the joint venture company during the execution and stabilization phases of major projects.

The company’s commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility is evident through its various initiatives focused on healthcare, education, skill development, and environmental conservation. SJVN generated nearly 11,914 Million Units of electricity from renewable sources in FY 2025–26, contributing to India’s clean energy transition.
