Divi’s Laboratories Limited has announced robust financial results for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2026-27 (Q1 FY27), ended June 30, 2026. The company reported a consolidated total income of ₹3,144 crores, marking a significant year-over-year increase of 32% from ₹2,529 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

Profitability and Growth

Profit before tax saw a substantial rise to ₹1,180 crores, up from ₹733 crores in Q1 FY26. Consequently, the profit after tax for the quarter stood at ₹902 crores, a notable improvement from ₹545 crores in the same period last year. On a standalone basis, total income was ₹3,037 crores compared to ₹2,476 crores previously. Standalone profit before tax increased to ₹1,165 crores from ₹747 crores, with profit after tax rising to ₹891 crores from ₹557 crores.

Operational Highlights

Dr. Kiran S. Divi, Whole-Time Director & CEO, highlighted the company’s continued focus on execution, manufacturing reliability, and disciplined capital deployment. The Generic business saw stable volumes, while pricing reflects competitive market conditions. The Custom Synthesis business contributed 60% of the revenue, with Generics accounting for 40%. Exports represented approximately 90% of the standalone revenue, with Europe and North America being key markets.

The company also noted challenging global logistic conditions and efforts to strengthen procurement resilience and supply chain continuity through strategic inventory buffers and diversified sourcing. Investments in manufacturing capabilities and infrastructure are ongoing to enhance long-term competitiveness.

Financial Position

As of the end of the quarter, Divi’s Laboratories held cash and cash equivalents of ₹3,611 crores. Trade receivables stood at ₹3,056 crores, and inventory was at ₹4,413 crores. Capital work in progress was ₹2,034 crores, reflecting ongoing expansion projects.
