Gland Pharma will establish a new cGMP state-of-the-art sterile suite at its Visakhapatnam facility to support Neuland’s growing demand for sterile APIs, adding approximately 1400 kg of annual capacity and enhancing global supply resilience.
Neuland Laboratories and Gland Pharma Forge Strategic CDMO Partnership
Hyderabad, India – August 5, 2026 – Neuland Laboratories Limited and Gland Pharma Limited today announced a significant long-term strategic Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) partnership focused on expanding sterile API manufacturing capabilities. This collaboration aims to address the increasing global demand for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) used in microparticle depot products and other complex sterile APIs.
Expanded Sterile API Capacity
Under the agreement, Gland Pharma will establish a new, cGMP-compliant sterile manufacturing suite at its JNPC facility in Visakhapatnam. This expansion is designed to support Neuland’s growing requirement for sterile APIs, adding approximately 1400 kg of annual capacity. The facility will adhere to cGMP, USFDA, and EU standards, leveraging Gland Pharma’s expertise in sterile manufacturing and regulatory compliance.
Integrated CDMO Solution
The partnership will create an integrated CDMO solution, encompassing complex API development, process development, custom manufacturing, scale-up, regulatory support, and commercial manufacturing of sterile APIs. This synergy aims to enhance global supply resilience by combining Neuland’s development and regulatory expertise with Gland Pharma’s manufacturing prowess.

The company also announced its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. For the consolidated results, total income stood at ₹78,870.85 lakhs, with a profit before tax of ₹28,749.48 lakhs. Profit for the period after tax was ₹21,267.26 lakhs. Standalone financial results reported total income of ₹78,870.72 lakhs and profit for the period after tax of ₹21,252.31 lakhs.
