The earnings per share (EPS) also saw a notable increase, with basic and diluted EPS reported at ₹3.24 for the quarter, up from ₹2.75 in the corresponding period of the prior year.
Comprehensive Income Performance
The company’s Total Comprehensive Income for the quarter was ₹4,328.76 crore. This figure is largely influenced by the ‘Other Comprehensive Income’ component, which stood at ₹4,164.87 crore. This substantial positive impact in other comprehensive income was primarily due to changes in fair valuation of equity instruments, which recorded a gain of ₹5,115.28 crore, partially offset by tax impacts.
Revenue and Expenses
Revenue from operations for the quarter stood at ₹208.90 crore. Total income for the period was ₹209.35 crore. Total expenses were reported at ₹11.99 crore, indicating efficient cost management. The profit before tax for the quarter was ₹197.36 crore.
